Chock Full Of Stereotypes & Mixed Messages

Alright, so I found this one last night having caught the tail end of it on tv last night and I still think I might be missing a point. 

Now – as the ad says – Citroen is made in France. The C5 isn’t one of those cars that was designed or built in numerous countries. So how is perfectly German? And how many stereotypes did you count? (My favourite slides in 00:51)

Discussions on this one go for the message that the new Citroen C5 is up their in terms of quality and competition with the big German exec cars like the Audis and BMWs but I’m curious as to whether such heavy stereotyping would be permitted with other cultures…?
